We are looking for expressions of interest from Radiologists who may be interested in relocating to New Zealand in 2017. These positions are all located within radiology departments of public hospitals.
New Zealand is regularly voted one of the world’s most peaceful countries. The mild NZ climate and untouched rugged landscape makes it a haven for outdoor adventurers. The low cost of living, low population and government funded healthcare makes NZ an affordable and relaxed practice environment.
The salary range will vary; depending on number of years out of residency, call requirement and other duties allowances it will be within the vicinity of NZ$230,000 – NZ$320,000.00. Benefits include: 6 weeks’ vacation leave, 2 weeks CME leave, 2 weeks public holidays. Our Radiologists are employed to work a 40 hour week, 25% is non clinical. On call is more or less depending on the size of the service and outsourced tele radiology provider.
To be considered for any of these roles you must be either registered or eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
