We are looking for expressions of interest from radiologists who are interested in spending the summer in New Zealand.
This central North Island region encompasses an area of natural beauty and is considered to be the adventure and tourist capital of New Zealand. There are 13 lakes within an environment brimming with thermal activity and natural history. Renowned as a mountain biker’s haven there are plenty of famous, diverse and unique adventures trails. , There’s all this with easy access to every part of the North Island and Auckland. Multiple lifestyle opportunities exist, so come and soak up this experience we have on offer.
The radiology department, within a public hospital setting, is a friendly and supportive environment. It is well equipped with 1.5T Philips Achieva MR unit and brand new 64 slice GE Lightspeed CT. There are three newly equipped general rooms across the radiology and emergency department. Screening and interventional services are provided with a dedicated Toshiba C-arm fluoroscopy suite. The department has a two GE Logic 9 ultrasound units.
