As most international travel has been frozen or significantly reduced due to COVID-19, it has been challenging for non-residents to make their way to New Zealand. Certain airlines are reestablishing flights to Auckland over the next month. Emirates will start flying from Dubai to Auckland from mid-July and Singapore Airlines beginning of July. Air New Zealand has a reduced flight schedule for long-haul services from Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Shanghai.
